Movement and Camera
Notoriety uses standard FPS controls on PC. WASD handles movement, while Q and E lean let you peek around corners without exposing your full body — critical for stealth heists where line-of-sight determines detection.
Left Shift toggles or holds sprint depending on your settings. Left Ctrl crouches for slower movement and crawling under obstacles. Master leaning before attempting Nightmare stealth on maps like Brick Bank or Downtown Bank.
Combat Controls
Primary weapon on 1, secondary on 2, melee on 3, gadget on 4. C switches between primary and secondary quickly. T toggles aim mode while right-click hold-to-aim offers precision for headshots on Overkill and Nightmare Titan guards.
R reloads, B toggles firemode on applicable weapons, and Y switches aim mode. Left click fires. Practice weapon switching before loud heists where shield units require coordinated focus fire.
Heist Interaction Keys
F is the most important key — interact, shout at civilians and guards, mark locations, and kick doors. G masks up, deploys equipment like ECM Jammers, and throws loot bags toward extraction points.
Tab opens the heist menu for restarting or adjusting settings. V provides alternate interact when multiple actions are available on one object. Customize bindings in Settings if F feels awkward — many veterans bind interact to E.
